On the 25th of October, we visited Flip Out in Wellington for a review.

Flip Out is a Trampoline Park, based all around the country. It has multiple different activities and is fun for all ages.

When we arrived at Flip out, it had lots of parking spaces, but being half term, we couldn’t find one, so had to park down the road. Which is okay, we didn’t mind. The outside was amazing and had an green Rolls Royce with the flip out logos all over it, which the kids loved! They called it Mr Beans car!

Upon arrival, there was a considerably large line, which is understandable with it being half term. We where greeted by Rebecca who was lovely! Explained she had to get the manager to help me out and we waited for him. The inside is well decorated but i felt was to small for the amount of people there, again, not their fault with it being half term.

We watched a safety briefing, and it was very child friendly so the girls listened well and it made sure they knew what they could and couldn’t do. The girls where given some bands to wear and we got some wristbands to show our allotted time, when we arrived into the all, we found that there was not that much seating own stairs and not a lot of people to move around with pushchairs. there is an upstairs seating area but with children it would be very hard to get the buggy upstairs. There was a cafe, and some arcade type games for others to do. There was also more upstairs.

We where given some bright yellow/green socks- which had some grip at the bottom to help us grip when needed. The girls loved the fact they got some special socks! When we found a space to sit down, we had a few moments to take in everything and off we went! The area where you can jump is huge! it defiantly does look smaller from the outside.

The different activities included in your sessions are: standard trampolines, an assault course, monkey bars, foam pits and more. There was so much to do, and the adrenaline in the room made everyone want to drive (quite literally) right in! The girls where running around like headless chickens trying to find everything they could do and they really enjoyed trying everything. The foam was very soft for when you fell and the games and activities where friendly for most ages.

Understandably it was very difficult for me to get clear photos of everyone doing their thing, (and i have a rubbish camera! lol) so i’ve selected the best i could get.

Once the kiddies had tried the trampolines our first, we started diving in deeper to the bigger and more bouncy ones. Rosie loved trying to do flips and watching everyone else and Gracie was just off doing her own thing! They where loving their time there and making the most of it all! We took some time to relax and chill out and have a drink, being a mum i bought my own drinks for the girls but upon walking into the room they saw the slush puppies machine, so we got them a refillable one and they had a quick sip before jumping right back in! I sat down with Miyah for a bit while my mum had a chance to go and have a look.

After our fun, included in our package we where given a pizza of our choice (medium) and some juice for free (We didn’t have the juice as we didn’t want to waste). The girls chose pepperoni and tucked in! We also had our face painted by an amazingly talented lady who i will write a separate review about.

Here i my Mothers, my Sisters, and my Sisters boyfriends thoughts on Flip out!

 Lindsey (Mum)

“I had a brilliant day today visiting flip out. I found the staff very helpful and friendly. The facilities were perfect for our needs. The venue was exceptionally busy as it was half term but everyone seemed to be enjoying their visit. I would defiantly visit again without hesitation.”

Charlie, (Sister)

“had a wonderful time today at flip out and enjoyed every second of the visit, the fun never stopped and the amount of different activities varied. I would go again and would definitely recommend it too anyone that asked.”

Dominic (Sisters Boyfriend)

“overall it was an fantastic experience, it catered too everyone’s needs. I thought the set up was brilliant, also fun and entertaining. On the downside there was lack of seats in the sitting area, but would happily go again and recommend to friends and family.”

Overall, we had a wonderful day and really enjoyed our experience. I would definitely go again and would recommend to anyone who enjoys this type of activity.

I would personally like to thank everyone who contributed in giving me and my family this amazing time.

Until next time,

  1. Sounds like a great time! We have a place here that sounds very similar, except it’s called sky zone! I’ve never been, but hopefully once my kids get older we can all go.
