Miyah’s 3 months update!

Cannot believe that Miyah is 3 months old already, it only feels like yesterday I got my first cuddle. Miyah is developing so nicely even though she was 3 weeks early. She is growing into a such a lovely little girl and it makes me so happy.

At 6 weeks old Miyah gave us her first proper smile, for a while she wouldn’t do it again and around 8 weeks she started to smile every day. She loves to smile, when she wakes up she gives us big smiles, she loves her cuddles and we have found at the minute that she likes the song ‘if you’re happy and you know it’. She always gives us big smiles and may giggle a little.

At 10 weeks old she gave us her first giggle. It was like music to my ears. They are only small and short giggles but you can just hear it before she stops. She also likes to giggle when we sing to her. She loves to smile at giggle at her nanny Rachael when we see her. She loves to see her nannies and granddads. She is defiantly a granddads girl.

At 10 weeks old again, Miyah rolled over for the first time. From belly to back she stretched and then rolled. The first time daddy was talking to her then turned his eyes for 2 seconds and then she did it right in front of mummy, he was so disappointed but the next day she did it again and he saw! He was so happy.

At 3 weeks old she could hold her head up for for about 15 seconds, now at 3 months she can hold it for ages. She loves to look around and see things. She loves to watch the telly and follows everyone with her eyes!

With her being 3 weeks early she is technically only 10 weeks. She smiled a bit slower than the other babies born around her, but rolled her quite quick. At the moment she is a happy, healthy and very beautiful little baby!

Her next update will be at 6 months!

Thank you for reading!

  1. Such a gorgeous post! I have no children of my own but I regularly look after my neighbours and it’s been so lovely to see them grow! I can’t wait to read more from you 🙂 x
