Since Miyah has been born, we try really hard to spend some 1 on 1 with Rosie, this can get really tough with School and Rosie being at her dads at the weekend.
This Friday night, Miyah was at her nannies house for a sleepover and we had Rosie for the weekend. I was so excited, I new about this for about 2 weeks and I got planning. The weather has been so lovely lately we decided to go to the beach. Seeming as Rosie has been asking for a while and we love the arcade.
We left around 7:00pm, (late I know!!!) and we arrived around 7:30pm. After belting our hearts out to all of Rosie’s favourite tunes on the way there; we parked and was ready to start the fun. We asked Rosie what she wanted to do first, and obviously the first thing she said was food. The lines where ridiculous, so we opted for an ice cream first. Rosie got double chocolate with a double flake, Michael has strawberry and double chocolate and I got plain vanilla. They where lovely!
There where lines everywhere, so it took us about 20 minutes to get ice cream in the line, but honestly; it was so worth it.
We sat down to eat our ice cream and I think Rosie got a little too excited and said she didn’t want the rest of her ice cream and she started to playing in the sand. She was running and jumping in the sand and it was so cute. Her giggles filled around us and she was in her element. She is definitely at her best place at the beach.
After we had eaten, we went to the arcade, where Rosie has rinsed us, but it was sooooo worth it. This girl has skills I never even knew. The way she played some of the games, she looked like a pro. All together, we got 450 tickets, where she picked a PJ masks mug, a squishy banana and a gem. Happy with what she picked, we left and finally the lines had gone down for some chippies. After this, the photos stopped until the end as we where having so much fun.
We sat on the beach, and Rosie had a good splash in the water for about an hour. Throwing pebbles into the water and retrieving them again afterwards. Me and Michael just sat on watched and I dipped my feet in a little with her. The air was warm and the sand was hot and it was so lovely to just sit down on and relax. For our last bit of the date night, we walked along the cob and we took some pictures of the view and the beautiful moon.
I really loved this view and it made me realise I need a camera! We had such a lovely time and I cannot wait to do this again. It was so nice to have 1 on 1 with Rosie, and i can definitely can tell it had a positive impact on her.
Until next time,
