Who doesn’t love a bit of cake? I mean, for any occasion! And one that fits through your letterbox? It’s amazing. I was so excited to receive this in the post and to choose to the design and flavours.
I picked a chocolate chip cake, with this design above on it. Writing Michaels name as Me and Rosie are not really big cake eaters. I didn’t actually tell him so i could get a full honest review from him and he was very surprised by it. The packaging was gorgeous, and it does do what it say. It fits through the letter box and is packaged enough to protect the cake form any major bumps in the travel. The cake was super moist to me, and i don’t know if anyone else can tell my touching the cake but i could. It was very soft and the fondant wasn’t hard. This was amazing in my eyes for a cake that is sent in the post to you.
The cake was sent in a small lovely decorated tin. This kept its freshness and i really liked the design on the tin. Plus once you have had your cake it would be perfect to put small nothings in after. For example paperclips and things like that. It was also out in a secure box that had my address on. I loved this, and loved how carefully they thought about the products packaging. That is always a bonus when it looks pretty!
The cake it’s self tasted AMAZING! i wish you could taste through reviews. Chocolatey and the icing to get the fondant to stick was so rich and lovely. I did have some myself and i could honestly say i could have sat there and eaten it all myself. I am not a fondant fan myself so Michael ate it and said it tasted lovely! Everyone was happy and was such a perfect little treat for the end of the day!
