Every mum MUST have their own little down time with the telly. Lately I have had a few things I am loving and I just wanted to share!
- IZombie! I am loving this programme at the moment, I am currently binge watching every chance I can get. It is about a women who turns to zombies, and to stay her ‘normal’ (as she can get being a zombie) self, she has to eat brains. I wont say anymore to spoil but recommended in my books! Go check it out, It’s on Netflix!
- Hollyoaks! This is a no brainer, on Channel 4 every week day at 6:30pm. It is a a soap and is great. Check it out if you haven’t.
- One Born Every Minute. Who hasn’t heard of this? My weakness and my way to broodiness. Don’t want another baby? Don’t watch. Seeing all these tiny little newborns makes my heart flutter.
- The Secret Life Of The Zoo. I love animals, and watching them do their thing makes me so happy. Watching births and how they go about their day to day business.
Watching TV is a rarity for me, and I have to record a lot of programmes and watch at another time. My planner is full of programmes I want to watch but I can promise you, that some of them have been on there for months. Sometimes, I don’t even want to sit down and watch the TV, I would much rather sit and read a book and float off in my own world.
When I am feeling a good binge watch of some programmes (usually at 1am when I can’t sleep, and I know full well I have to get up and do the school run.) I can sit there with some sweet stuff to munch on, and catch up on everything I love. I think the only thing I watch (nearly) everyday is Hollyoaks. This is on after Simpsons, and usually when the children are settling ready for bed, otherwise I am missing programmes here and there and catching up when i have a spare hour. Even though that is very rare.
There is nothing more satisfying than chilling on the sofa with a hot cuppa, watching things you genuinely enjoying the programme you are watching!
